While almost half of millennial respondents said that they think cryptocurrency will become widely used in the future, only a third (34%) of generation X respondents and 29% of baby boomers said the same. According to Coin Telegraph, American millennials may be pushing back against stereotypes which suggest they don't care about investing. A recent survey by YouGov Omnibus indicates that about half of American millennials are interested in using digital currencies. The research service recently revealed the results of the survey, which documented the answers of more than 1200 respondents in late August of 2018. Besides the data regarding millennial cryptocurrency interest, the survey also revealed that nearly 4 out of 5 Americans know of at least one digital token, with bitcoin appearing to be the best-known cryptocurrency.
